Austin didn't stumble into this work. He was built for it.

After serving in the US Army, he took a job with one of the largest homebuilders in the country. He learned construction from the ground up - how homes come together, what makes them last, and what corners most people never notice but a craftsman always does. The work fascinated him. But what kept pulling at him was the custom side - the builds where every detail was intentional, nothing was stock, and the finished product was made for one specific family in one specific home.

So he left. Then he started Desert Wood Cabinetry from scratch, and hasn't looked back.

The same discipline that shaped him in the Army shows up in every project - the measurements, the materials, the timeline, the follow-through. His wife and kids are his reason for doing it right. And doing it right means your home gets the same attention his would.
